Senior group members are actively engaged in research and PhD supervision within the PhD programme in Economics:
PhD awards:
- Diego Cagigas– Social Council of the University of Cantabria Award in 2024. He is currently working as a Técnico Comercial and Economista del Estado (TCEE).
- Ana Lara Gómez – Best PhD thesis award, awarded by the University of Cantabria in 2020; Social Council of the University of Cantabria Award in 2019; ‘Enrique Fuentes Quintana Award’ (FUNCAS) in social sciences for the year 2018/2019.
- Jose Manuel Alonso – Best PhD thesis award, awarded by the University of Cantabria in 2018; Social Council of the University of Cantabria Award in 2016.
- Marcos Fernández Gutiérrez – Social Council of the University of Cantabria Award in 2012.
